That gives you nearly 19 km of walkable coastline from Vivo Resorts, making it perfect for long, peaceful strolls in either direction.
Just remember:
- Bring plenty of water – Stay hydrated, especially under the intense Oaxacan sun.
- Wear sun protection – Use sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses to shield yourself from UV rays.
- Insect repellent - Dust and dawn sand flies and mosquitoes are more active.
- Let someone know your plans – The beach is secluded and largely unpatrolled, so it’s wise to tell someone where you’re going and when you expect to return.
- Be cautious - there can the wild or stray dogs sometimes on the beach.
